Glucose variability (CV)

How much your readings swing around their average, usually as a coefficient of variation.

Glucose variability captures the size of your ups and downs, most often as a coefficient of variation (CV): the standard deviation divided by the mean, as a percentage. Lower means steadier.

A CV of 36% or below is a common stability goal. Two people can share an average yet feel very different days if one is far more variable.
