Patients log readings and doses with quick entry, or import a spreadsheet or CGM export. The record is theirs and keeps growing between visits.

Open the panel before or during the visit. It surfaces patients for staff review, and each chart shows the readings since enrollment for the data that patient has shared.

When a patient has shared reports, export a FHIR R4 bundle and file it according to your clinic's workflow and policies. Each export is recorded in that patient's audit log.

Honest answers

Is SteadyRange HIPAA compliant?

No such claim is made. SteadyRange is not a covered entity and does not offer a HIPAA business associate agreement (BAA). It holds no SOC 2 report and has not had a third-party penetration test. If your clinic is a covered entity, it should not send protected health information through SteadyRange. The security page lists every company that processes data and what each one can see.

Will this create more work for our staff?

The pilot uses one cohort and one review moment. Together we track enrollment time, patient support requests, and clinician review time, and you expand only if the workflow earns its place.

Will patients actually keep logging?

We can’t promise that. The panel surfaces patients whose logging has lapsed, with the number of days since their last reading, so gaps are visible rather than hidden. Whether patients keep contributing is one of the four questions the pilot is there to answer.

Does it recommend dose changes?

No. SteadyRange is a patient record and a conversation aid. It is not a medical device and does not give treatment advice. The items the panel surfaces for staff review—logging that has lapsed, a GLP-1 dose that looks overdue, a weight plateau—are prompts to look at the record, not recommendations.

Who can see patient data?

Your staff can open a patient’s record only while their staff account is active, the patient’s enrollment is active, the patient’s consent is in place, and that consent covers the data being opened. No role bypasses consent: a clinic owner who manages the roster still cannot open a chart the patient has not shared. Patients choose what to share by data type and can withdraw with one button; access is checked again on every request, so a withdrawal applies the next time the page loads. Why not use our existing patient portal?

If your portal already gives you a patient-maintained timeline of glucose, weight, and doses, plus a short summary for the visit, you may not need SteadyRange. The gap it fills is the record between appointments: kept by the patient day to day, and readable in one view when they arrive.
