Terms of Service
Effective July 5, 2026
The plain-language terms for using SteadyRange. They cover what the service is, how the plans work, and the usual legal basics, without the fog.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and SteadyRange for your use of the SteadyRange website and app. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use SteadyRange.
What SteadyRange is, and what it is not
SteadyRange is a personal tracking tool for blood glucose, weight, blood pressure, activity, and medications, with trends and plain-language summaries built from the readings you enter. It is designed to help you see and share your own numbers.
SteadyRange is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Values such as estimated A1C, GMI, and time in range are estimates calculated from your entries, not laboratory results. Always talk with a qualified clinician about your health, and never start, stop, or change treatment based on what you see here alone. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, for the accuracy of what you enter, and for keeping your sign-in secure. Please let us know promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live in order to use SteadyRange.
Only enter data you have the right to enter. If you record information on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for having their permission.
Using it fairly
Please use SteadyRange only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service or to other people's data; do not scrape or resell it; and do not use it for anything unlawful. We may limit or suspend access that threatens the service or its users.
The free and Plus plans
The core of SteadyRange is free: logging your readings, trends, on-device insights, and dose reminders. Plus is an optional paid subscription that adds sharing, exports, the calendar feed, and proactive emails, at the prices shown on the pricing page.
Plus is billed in advance through our payment processor and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings; your Plus features continue through the end of the period you already paid for, and canceling simply returns you to the free plan without deleting any of your data. We may change prices or what each plan includes, and will give notice of material changes before they affect you. If something goes wrong with a charge, reach us through the contact page and we will make it right.
Your data is yours
You own the health data you enter. You can export a full backup or erase your data at any time. We do not sell your data or hand it to advertisers. How your data is stored and handled is described on our privacy page, which forms part of these terms.
Our content, and yours
SteadyRange, including its software, design, text, and branding, belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms do not give you the right to copy it, redistribute it, or build a competing service from it. Your data stays yours; you grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you, such as storing your readings and generating the reports you ask for.
Services we rely on
SteadyRange uses trusted third parties to operate, including a payment processor for subscriptions and an email provider for account and reminder messages. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.
Disclaimers
SteadyRange is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any estimate it shows will match a laboratory result. You are responsible for how you use the information, and for all medical decisions, which belong with you and your clinician.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SteadyRange and the people who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, nor for any health decision made in reliance on the service. To the extent we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for SteadyRange in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using SteadyRange and close your account at any time, and you can export your data first. We may suspend or end access that violates these terms or puts the service or its users at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as the disclaimers and the limitation of liability, continue to apply after your use ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. When a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, such as a note on this page or an email. Continuing to use SteadyRange after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which SteadyRange is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts located there.
For how your data is stored and handled, see the privacy page. Questions about these terms? Reach us through the contact page.
