Ozempic weight loss calculator
In STEP 2 (1.0 mg arm), adults with type 2 diabetes taking semaglutide 1.0 mg weekly lost an average of 7% of body weight over 68 weeks. Enter your start weight to project that curve onto you, and see when the trial average would reach your goal. Nothing is stored, and no account is needed.
Ozempic's weight data comes from adults with type 2 diabetes (STEP 2). For the higher-dose weight-management version of the same molecule, see Wegovy.

Where the numbers come from
The curve is an exponential time course normalized to hit each trial's published end-of-trial average exactly, and the shaded band is an approximate middle half of participants derived from the published responder rates. The time constants and the band are modeling choices, documented in the open; the endpoints are the trials' own numbers. A projection is a trial average, not a prediction of any one person.

Other medications
General information, not medical advice. Dosing, eligibility, and side effects are decisions for you and your prescriber; if side effects are on your mind, start with tracking GLP-1 side effects. Trial averages describe groups, not any one person.
See your own curve, not the average
The projection here is a trial average. Log your doses and weigh-ins and SteadyRange charts your actual progress alongside your glucose, dose changes, and time in range, on a private log you control.
